Who we are
Tallis & Rowe LLP is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. We are a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales, with our head office at 14 Bedford Row, London WC1R 4ED.
Our privacy lead oversees how we handle personal information across all sixteen offices. You can reach them at privacy@tallisrowe.com.

What we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you, send you what you asked for, or consider your application:
Contact details you give us: your name, work email, company and phone number.
The content of your enquiry, newsletter sign-up or job application, including any CV you attach.
Basic usage information: pages visited, device type and approximate location, with IP addresses shortened before they are stored.

How we use it
Each use has a clear legal basis under UK and EU data protection law:
To reply to your enquiry and arrange a first conversation (legitimate interests).
To send The Monday Note, if you subscribed (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
To assess an application for a role (steps before entering a contract).
To keep the website secure and learn which pages are useful (legitimate interests).

How long we keep it
Enquiries: two years from our last exchange.
Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe.
Job applications: twelve months, unless you join us.
Website analytics: fourteen months, then deleted.

Your rights
You can ask us to:
Show you the personal information we hold about you.
Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Delete your information, or stop using it for a particular purpose.
Give you a copy in a portable format.
Stop sending you The Monday Note.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

How to make a request
Email privacy@tallisrowe.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line.
Tell us what you would like us to do and which email address you used with us.
We confirm it is you, usually by replying to that address.
We act on your request and reply within one month, explaining what we did.

We use two kinds of cookies:
Strictly necessary cookies, which keep the site working and cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies, which we set only if you agree, to count visits and see which pages are read.
